In today’s world, you hear a lot about getting organized, it is the “in” thing to make life easier. We organize our closets, our shelves, our drawers, our laundry rooms, our desks and our calendar all in hopes of straightening out our lives. There are even garage organizers to fix our outdoor, where do I put it type stuff. As technology has improved, life has become more hectic and we often feel out of control as we try to juggle so many things. So anything we can organize gives us a sense of control and accomplishment.
So, say you have every thing else organized in your life, you have probably left the garage for last. It is a bit intimidating because probably while you were organizing the house anything you didn’t know where to put, was put in the garage. Plus you have your seasonal items out there (from summer camping to winter skiing), gardening supplies and any handyman tools are all stored in your garage. But spring is finally here, so it is the perfect time to tackle getting your garage in order.
Organizing your garage is going to be a big enough project, so when looking for what type of storage system you should use, there are three things to look for:
Easy – the items in your garage organizers should be easy to access, easy to find and be organized in a systematic fashion that is easy to understand. This includes using all of your available space, not just your floor space but also your wall space, and sometimes your ceiling space. Keeping many of your items off the floor also keeps them safe and dry. Versatile – this means that the garage organizers that you choose should be able to be adapted for many different functions or activities. Your storage options should be flexible and adaptable to the many different things that you need to organize. Modular and Expandable – a modular system is made up of different modules as the basis of design. These various modules should allow your garage organizing system to expand as your storage needs or pocketbook allows.
There are a couple of different storage systems that fit all of these criteria, two of these being Flow Wall and Gladiator Garage Works. These types of garage organizers have panels (slats) that are attached to your garage walls, available in different size configurations. Onto these panels you can easily hang a variety of hooks, shelves, baskets, small cabinets and workstations.
The panels themselves are designed to be both easy to install and easy to use. All of the many accessories mentioned above easily hang on the walls. And, the various storage accessories make these garage organizers very versatile. The different hooks vary is size and configuration to hang things from bikes and skis to heavy duty hooks for ladders and wheel barrows. Along with the different length shelves and various types of baskets a cabinets, these systems are very versatile and can be adapted to anyone’s different needs.
When necessary, you can easily add more panels for additional storage space, or rearrange the hooks, shelves etc. into different configurations for different storage needs. These two options make these types of garage organizers both modular and expandable.
So, when you finally get the courage to organize your garage, remember ease, versatility and modular expandability, and if you match all of these criteria in your system, you will be happy with the garage organizers that you choose for your garage.

Wheeeee! Yippy! Hurray! Isn’t that what you think when you think about garage organizers? I didn’t think so. But it isn’t all that bad is it. I know some people like to keep all their camping gear, tools, family collectibles, Christmas decorations, food storage, sports equipment, and other miscellaneous goodies in a, shall we say, “creative” storage system. Believe me, I understand.
I know that the space above most bedroom closets is a vast expanse of unused and neglected space right? You have absolutely no idea what you could possibly put there to fill it up. Yeah! And those boxes in the hall that have been there since last Christmas aren’t any big deal. They aren’t really in the way that much. Oh, and of course, the tangled piles of who knows what stored so neatly in the garage are so accessible right? Not! I’m not trying to interfere with anybody’s system of chucking, shoving, and forgetting. It’s a good system. That is, if you don’t mind the risks of not having garage organizers to keep everything ship shape.
Oh there are risks. Let’s say you get home from your ski trip with all your stuff. You’re tired and just want to get the SUV unloaded asap and get in the house where it’s warm. You drop your skis, bags and boots somewhere in the mystery pile, somehow never quite getting around to going back out and truly taking care of them. This is a problem. We all have enough stress in our lives. We don’t need the frustration of discovering our favorite tool or sports item damaged or ruined because something else scratches or otherwise damages it out of carelessness. It makes life miserable next time you go to use your stuff. Gear that is abused just doesn’t last as long or even stay in as good of condition as it could. This ends up costing you more money and frustration. Too risky for me. So, here’s a thought for your consideration: garage organizers are fun. What a revelation! Just makes me all giddy thinking about them.
You are probably thinking, “give me a break” right? Okay, here’s my deal. We all have stuff all over the place that we think we will remember where it is when we need it, and then when we do we just can’t seem to find it. I have had some experience with this cute little aspect of modern living. Four kids and two pets give me lots to keep track of. Until I discovered the power of garage organizers I would drive myself crazy looking for items I thought I would never misplace, searching for any possible square inch to put just one more thing into. This is not fun. But with garage organizers I walk around with a Cheshire cat grin on my face all day long just knowing how safe and sound all my stuff is. No more worry, no more risk, no more irritation. Just fun!
So go ahead, get yourself some garage organizers and try it out. You know, cabinets, workbenches with shelves and drawers, racks, hooks, and bins. Stuff like that. Heck, why not go all out and get a whole garage storage system. You know, those beautiful matching garage organizers that you’ve been dreaming about. Life is dreary enough. You deserve some fun!

The original garage organizer system was just some basic shelves that were put up along the garage walls, usually just using scraps of plywood and pine that were lying around the house. I have to admit, this is still the type of garage organizer that we use today. It works fairly well for boxes, but not good for all the miscellaneous, odd shaped items that end up in the garage.
After basic shelves, came the evolution of a utility shelf. Often made out of metal or heavy duty plastic, and the plastic ones usually break completely down to shelves and supports. We have some of these also, both the plastic type that break down as well as heavy duty metal shelves.
Along with these basic shelves, we have the everyday cabinet that can be found in many ordinary garages. The garage organizer cabinet is usually made of metal or particle board. We have the particle board variety which is heavy and will be ruined if it gets wet. But it is very good for storing paint, stain, fertilizer and other household chemicals.
But in the last 15 to 20 years, the garage organizer has evolved into full systems. These systems range from grouped cabinets of various sizes and configurations to wall slat systems that are very versatile. These wall systems can hold a variety of different hooks, shelves, baskets, caddies etc. that can hold an entire multitude of items from gardening tools to sports items to seasonal goodies to tools and bikes.
It seems like that would max out the ideas for garage organizers, but then somebody realized that there was an entire ceiling that was going unused. There are multiple overhead systems that take advantage of this fact, from a shelf that hangs from the ceiling (some on a pulley system) to special tote holders.
So with this innovative idea in mind, it made me wonder what will come next? What does the future garage organizer look like? Perhaps rotating shelves where everything has its own place, and it would be fully computerized. Just punch into the computer what you are looking for, and the shelves and cabinets would mechanically rotate until the desired item was front and center.
Perhaps some of the cabinets could even be kept in the crawl space above the garage and would robotically come down through a trap door when you did a search on the garage organizer computer system.
Better yet, think of Star Trek the Next Generation. You just walk up to a contraption built into the wall and say like Jean Luc Picard, “Tea, Earl Gray”, or more appropriately, “Stain, Dark Walnut” and the item would instantly appear. The question is, do you store everything willy nilly in the crawl space and attic, or are they just molecules floating somewhere in space to reassemble when called upon. On Star Trek, I used to wonder if they had a storage hold full of anything you could possible need to appear when summoned, but I am pretty sure it was the latter molecular scenario.
Star Trek may not be the future of garage organizer systems, but it will be interesting to see what does evolve. But for right now, there are some great systems available to improve your garage storage needs.
But perhaps we won’t need a garage, because cars will be obsolete. Beam me up Scotty!

Garage organizers are not all created equal, not by a long shot. When you have stuff to store, but not enough space to store it in, then you know a lot about storage – or the lack of it. Many garages are used to solve this problem with simple plywood shelves. This works, but isn’t very attractive. It also isn’t very efficient. There really isn’t all that much difference between a pile of stuff on the floor and a pile of stuff on a shelf. It can be nearly as frustrating and as equally irritating. Creating a truly organized garage space takes a little bit of planning and thought. Once you’ve figured out exactly what you need to organize, then you can purchase the appropriate organization solution for your garage. Assuming that you’ve figured out your needs, here are some possible organizers for your consideration.
First, you could opt for something as basic as garage organizer cabinets that can be mounted on the wall, or put on rollers and left on the floor. These are really nice because they allow you to store items on shelves, then hide them out of site behind doors. No more embarrassment when friends and family go out to your garage. But you can do more, way more.
Garage organizers go way beyond simple shelves or even cabinets. Another one of the more popular solutions for garage storage is adjustable wall rack systems. Companies like Gladiator, Bench Solution, Flow Wall, or NewAge VersaTrac all make various wall track systems that are truly customizable and versatile. Think about all that stuff that clutters up your garage that just doesn’t fit in a cabinet or on a shelf. Hoses, rakes, shovels, brooms, roller blades, rackets, weed trimmers, etc. With a wall system you can adjust the racks and hooks so that you can make a truly functional and customizable space. Yard tools no longer have to plague your life. Don’t you hate the way they start out stacked in a corner, but somehow find a way to creep out onto the floor and invariably get in the way? Say goodbye to that little problem forever!
As a large active family, we have lots of bikes and sports equipment to manage. Rather then just have all those things rolling, bouncing, and lying around, we’ve found that overhead garage organizers are a simple, but important part of our garage. For the bikes, we bought some Prostor ceiling mount bike lifts. These allow us to use the space above, while still allowing easy access to the bikes when we want to use them. For the basketballs, soccer balls, and baseball equipment, we purchased a couple of Prostor ball and bat sport racks. These are great. They are solid steel and have a really nice smooth finish. They were easy to mount up on the wall and does exactly what we wanted them to do – keep stuff off the floor!
Garage organizers are also available for other specific items. You can get racks for golf club bags, fishing poles, ski equipment, roller blades, lawn and garden equipment, even ladders and wheelbarrows. No matter what you have to organize, you will be pleasantly surprised at your options. You truly can make sense of all that stuff. There just isn’t any excuse for clutter anymore. Go for it!

Garage organizers make great gift ideas because they come in such a large variety of styles, colors, price ranges, and options. With the holiday season fast upon us, who isn’t looking for great gift ideas? Right, we all are. Consider these ideas and see if they help you find just the right thing for that special someone in your life.
Overhead Garage Organizers – These are sweet! Think about how much stuff you have that could easily be put up out of the way and forgotten about. Since it is stuff that is really only accessed one or two times every year anyway, you might as well. My favorite recommendation is the overhead platform. This is a spiffy contraption that allows you to load boxes and other items on a flat platform that is then hoisted up to the rafters. I put all my holiday decorations and keepsake boxes on there, lift it up out of the way, then basically forget about it for a year. Another popular option are bins that live on tracks that are mounted overhead. Same idea. Just load up the bins and put them up out of the way. Works great for items that only have to be accessed occasionally. Cabinet Garage Organizers – What can I say, these are the perennial classics of garage storage. These cabinets are available in so many configurations and styles that you are certain to find ones that would make great gifts. Most people really like metal cabinets because they are attractive and don’t require any maintenance other than maybe a squirt of lubricant on the hinges every couple years. Lots of space for storing tools, sandpaper, garden related items, or other items that you don’t want to look at on open shelving. Just load it up, close the doors and forget about it. Bins – These garage organizers are perfect for active families with lots of items to keep track of. All those sport balls, ski boots, roller blades, and other items that so often just get kicked to the side can now be stored in dedicated bins. These are great because they can easily be mounted on the wall at various heights to accommodate everyone in the family. Think how nice it would be to not have to trip all over soccer and basketballs every time you go into the garage. I can tell you from personal experience, this is a gift that anyone with kids would love! Fishing gear racks – Now here’s a novel idea. How about a place to store fishing gear in a way that will keep the hooks where they belong, the rods upright and unbroken, and reels clean and neat. Yep, fishing gear racks to the rescue. I can’t think of many things more irritating in the garage than a pile of fishing gear that keep falling all over itself, getting entangled and broken. These little racks mounton the wall and just plain solve the problem.
As you can see, garage organizers would make a great gift for almost anyone. Being able to keep things stored up out of the way where they can be easily accessed and kept clean and in nice condition is a good thing. The gift of garage organizers is a gift that just keeps on giving, and that’s an even better thing!

Garage organizers come in many shapes and sizes. There are specialty racks, shelves, and cabinets. There are hoist systems, overhead platforms, and other ingenious ideas that people have come up with to help organize stuff. Sometimes “garage organizers” even refers to a type of person, as in people who organize garages. Usually it just refers to ways and means of making sense of life’s various things that tend to clutter up our garages and homes. Lets take a closer look at this last area. A good place to start is to break down the things that you and your family members use on both a regular and an occasional basis.
You and your kid’s bikes are probably things you use often. These things can be stored with specialty racks that make it possible for you to access your bikes easily and quickly. without having them lying all over the floor. Picture how nice it would be to not have to deal with bikes flopping all over the place, or tripping on them when you try to navigate your way past them to try to get to something else. All in all, garage organizers for bikes is a wonderful idea.
Other things you use frequently that really benefits from garage organizers is sports equipment. Soccer balls, basketballs, footballs, golf clubs, roller blades, and all sorts of other things can be safely and neatly stored in bins and on hooks designed just for such things. This sure beats the normal dump-it-on-the-floor-and-run routine that most kids use. It doesn’t seem to matter how many times you ask them to put their things away, they somehow just end up all over the garage floor. If the kids know that there is a specific rack or bin for their stuff, it makes it more likely that they will use it.
Things that you use infrequently would be things like fishing gear. Garage organizers help make sense of this stuff too. Chances are you have fishing poles, reels, nets, and other fishing stuff that only gets used every once in awhile, but mostly just sits in a jumbled mess. Instead of piling all that stuff up willy-nilly in a corner of the garage somewhere, why not organize it neatly. Next time you get ready to go fishing, loading up will be a snap. Plus, you’ll save yourself the frustration of dealing with rods and reels that are a mess.
Probably my most favorite garage organizers are garage storage cabinets. These can be left on the floor on rollers, or mounted on the wall, or even situated on a table top. Many are lockable, and most have adjustable shelves. Paints, stains, sandpapers, miscellaneous hand tools, and other items that can really turn your tool boxes into jumbled messes go great in these sorts of cabinets. Like all garage organizers, these cabinets make our lives easier because the frustration of dealing with things out of place goes away. Instead, we create an environment where we can think clearly, access things we need easily, and just create a more relaxing vibe in our day to day lives.
Garage organizers come in all shapes and sizes, and I recommend them highly if you are interested in simplifying both the frequently, and infrequently, used items in your life. Do an inventory and decide to take action. Get the organizers you need and smile.

Gladiator GarageWorks is a company that puts out some of the coolest garage organizers and systems on the market today. Since everyone wants to have a nice organized garage, and nobody likes clutter and mess, it is important to take a look at what sorts of options you really have when it comes to making sense of your garage space.
Having the right work surfaces and places to do projects in the garage is obviously one of the main concerns of anyone with a garage. It can be absolutely frustrating to need a place to set something down, only to find that every square inch is covered with stuff. The solution is to either organize things, or to get more space. Gladiator Garageworks helps do both. They make workbenches that are spacious and heavy-duty. The solid maple tops are both durable as well as attractive. Plus, they are designed to be able to put Gladiator modules underneath for even more storage. These benches can support up to 1,000 pounds because the frames are made out of steel. Using workbenches is great because, by doing so, you create dedicated space for your project and repair needs.
Another Gladiator Garageworks product line that I think is particularly useful is their cabinets. You might remember from years gone by the old plywood cabinets that used to be so common in garages and sheds. Well, those days are no more. These days people are more interested in steel and durability. The cabinets put out by Gladiator Garageworks have fixed and adjustable shelves. They have tread plate doors. How cool is that? They are designed to support hundreds of pounds and come in various widths, heights, and depths. Some even have heavy duty casters.
To complement these cabinets, Gladiator has come up with what they call their “modular” boxes. These are basically storage gear boxes on wheels that have drawers and/or shelves, and are under three feet tall. This means that these can be rolled in and out from under their workbenches. Now that’s smart thinking. If a smaller box on the wall is more your style, Gladiator GarageWorks makes those too. 24″ and 30″ wide sizes are available and are also constructed of heavy-duty steel and tread plate.
Probably the coolest thing Gladiator Garageworks puts out is it’s Chillerator Garage Refrigerator (sorry for the pun). What more could a guy want in his garage than his own personal garage fridge. You can keep six packs of… uh… yogurt, or whatever else you want to keep cool. These are Energy Star compliant and are on casters so they can be easily relocated if necessary. This particular appliance has a 14 cubic foot fridge on the bottom and a 5 cubic foot freezer on the top. Sweet! They also put out a garage trash compactor. This is something I had never thought of, but it makes sense when I think about how much trash actually ends up being generated by activities in the garage.
Having a nice garage space is no longer just for the rich and famous. With innovative, high quality, durable, affordable and attractive products like Gladiator Garageworks makes, anyone can create a pleasant and useful space in their garage. There are lots of options that take garage use and organization to a whole new level.

Does this sound familiar? “Can someone please go to the garage and get me a hammer and a phillips screwdriver?” “Sure, where are they?” “They should be right there on the shelf.” These are the hopeful pleas that escapes your quivering lips. You know that you own a hammer. You know you own a screwdriver. And, you know they are both in the garage. What seems to be a continuing mystery is where these things live. Of course, if everyone else in the family would just be as conscientious as you are about putting things where they belong, all this useless frustration about where things are could be avoided. Argh!
I know that some sort of garage storage solutions would help me out of this nightmare, and I’m off to a good start. Last summer I even built some shelves. These are great for Christmas boxes, a little food storage, some keepsake boxes, and the odd loose item or two. But what to do with the bikes, winter tires, lumber, that third row car seat I hardly ever use, and all the miscellaneous items that seem to clutter up the place? It turns out, there are actually lot of options when it comes to garage storage solutions and I just wanted to share some of what I found.
One of my personal favorites are garage storage solutions that use that empty space overhead. For example, did you know that you can get racks and bins that are made especially for the space overhead. Yep, you can solve your storage problems with some really cool garage organizers like the ones made by Tote Trac. They have these specialty racks that allow you to store skis, snowboards, luggage, blankets, kid’s stuff, sport balls or whatever. They come in different sizes and configurations. My favorite is their 6 track family pack system. It is fairly priced at around $40 – 60 and allows you to hang the tracks from ceiling or wall joists. In closets, the garage, or wherever. The bins hang from the tracks and are easily accessible. They can be hung on drywall and hold up to 400 pounds. The construction is quality white powder coated steel and can easily be installed by one person. It even has hooks allowing you to hang your bike. Anything to get stuff off the floor!
Another one of the garage storage solutions that is really good is made by MonsterRax. They make overhead storage racks that are are an ideal storage system. Their racks are made out of 14 gauge steel frames and can hold up to 500 pounds. These are boltless and can be adjusted for how far down from the ceiling you want the heavy duty wire decking. Pretty heavy duty item that is well-made and completely modular.
And last but not least, there’s the Prostor Heavy lift overhead garage storage solutions made by Racor. No discussion of garage organizers would be complete without a mention of this ingenious product. It basically allows you to load items onto a platform and lift it up to the ceiling (up to 12 feet high) without having to use a ladder. It has a 250 pound capacity so you can really store a lot of things. It includes a 4×4 platform, winding axle, steel support beams, all necessary mounting hardware, and sells for under $200.
Maybe one of these garage storage solutions will help you. I am excited about getting some of these for my garage. I guess I’ll plan out exactly what to get over lunch. Now where did I put my keys?

It is safe to say in most parts of the country that spring is finally here and the desire to get outside and start getting some things done is in the air. The last few weekends I see people everywhere working outside, hauling stuff to the landfill and limbs to the local recycling area where they accept yard waste to mulch down to compost. Besides the yard, another area of focus for spring clean up is the garage. If most garages are like mine, a lot of extra junk has been thrown in there throughout the winter and it is time to do some serious organizing and cleaning up. But this year I decided that I needed to do more, my makeshift shelving just isn’t working anymore, I need a more intelligent use space, I need some real garage storage solutions.
With a little looking around, I discovered that there is a lot available on the market, not just different brands of garage organizers, but different solutions within each brand. There is literally something for everybody depending upon what you use your garage for and the types of items that you store in your garage.
The basis of many garage storage solutions is the cabinet. Garage cabinets come in various sizes and configurations. You can get floor cabinets that are tall with shelves inside, or shorter ones that have shelves or drawers with a work space on top. Cabinets for the garage are often made from a press board with laminated finish or metal. Some cabinets are designed with certain hobbies in mind; such as sports, gardening or wood working. For example, inside a cabinet with sports in mind, you may find a special place to hang bats, a bungee ball restraint or storage bins for smaller items. Some cabinets are designed to be hung on the wall, leaving the floor space underneath for other uses.
Workbenches are another form of garage storage solutions, and are often placed beneath wall cabinets. A workbench can be just a table type design, sometimes with a few drawers or shelf beneath, and other times workbenches are cabinets with a special top for a work surface. I have even seen wall hung cabinets where the door actually swings down to become a workbench. This works great if you are really tight on space.
Tool carts are a popular garage storage solution for mechanics. Often like a tool chest on wheels and other times more resembling a cabinet or cart on wheels, the concept is the same. You can store it by the wall, but then move it with you when you are working on your car or other project.
Special garage organizers are a really flexible form of storage. These are often special wall systems for which you can purchase a variety of sizes of hooks, bins, and shelves for storing anything from garden tools, wheel barrows and ladders to bikes, balls, skis and sport rackets. From there the list goes on to whatever you might need to store.
One of my favorite categories of garage storage solutions is overhead storage. I can just imagine that this system was thought up by a very frazzled home owner who just needed more storage space than his floor and walls allowed. These systems hang from the ceiling, some are shelves or bins that you reach with a ladder, others are actually on a pulley system so you can lower it to the floor for easy access.
If you are like most people, one of these options alone will not do the trick, you will need a variety of them to come up with the best garage storage solutions for your home. But it is worth the work to get it done, your garage will become a place you do not dread going, and you will be the envy of the neighborhood!

Garage storage units are available in many different types and configurations. The specific kind of garage organizer you select will largely depend on what you will be using it for. If you are constantly clearing a space to use as a work shop or a potting table, you might want to include a shelving unit with a large flat work surface. Garage storage organizers include all purpose utility cabinets, racks, freestanding tool chests and pegboard hutches. Another way to organize your garage exactly the way you want it is to purchase individual pieces such as a rolling island, wall cabinets or vertical storage cabinets, all of which are designed to create a customized system to meet your specific requirements.
After sorting what and what not to keep, you will have a better idea of what kind of garage organizer to buy. If the majority of the items are boxes of a fairly uniform size, then storage shelving would be ideal. If you have children and you need to store a lot of hazardous materials or dangerous tools, consider purchasing lockable storage cabinets. When the majority of items are bulky and not uniform in size or shape, the best solution is stackable storage bins or multi-purpose cabinets.
Garage storage units come in all different sizes. Before purchasing one unit or a combination of garage organizers, decide where it’s going and then take measurements. You don’t want to end up with a unit that will block a doorway or be too tall. If you would like to be able to use the unit when the vehicle is in the garage, take into account that many types of cabinets have doors that open outward.
Types of Garage Storage Units:
Tall Storage Cabinets:
Tall storage cabinets provide easy freestanding storage solutions for a cluttered garage. Start with one cabinet and add as needed. They are perfect for storing a variety of items such as lawn care products, gardening supplies and other accessories. Depending on the style, they effectively store long, narrow items and can include partitioned bins and/or shelving. If you have a lot of items to store, they are ideal for garages with limited space.
Base Cabinets:
Base cabinets are an affordable alternative to built-in cabinets, and with so many brands and kinds to choose from, you are sure to find exactly what you need. Base cabinets can be used by themselves or as the beginning of your own customized garage storage system. Generally, depending on the manufacturer, they have a number of drawers, are mobile and have open or enclosed shelves. They can include features like key locks, height adjustable feet, reinforced metal corners and protective edges.
Tool Cabinets:
Tool cabinets resemble base cabinets but are intended to hold a variety of tools. They can be a freestanding column of narrow drawers, or they can feature 2 or 3 large drawers, varying drawer sizes and compartments with doors. They can be stationary or on casters.
Garage Hutches:
Garage hutches fall into two general categories, pegboards and storage hutches. They are designed to conveniently store items close at hand by suspending them directly above the work surface. A pegboard hutch allows you to keep your tools organized and readily accessible in plain sight. Storage hutches are shelves that can be paired with a base cabinet or bench to create an organized work space in the garage. They are ideal for storing containers, tools and small pieces of equipment.
Garage Cabinet Sets:
A viable alternative to custom-designed systems, a garage cabinet set incorporates various types of garage storage such as a base cabinet, a tall storage cabinet, and a pegboard or storage hutch. They are ideal for organizing a garage in which you want to create a work space for your gardening or repair projects, in addition to have a place to store things away.
Wall Mounted Cabinets:
Mounted wall cabinets maximize your storage options without using up valuable floor space. They can have enclosed shelves, doors and/or locks, and cubbies or dividers. To make the most out of your wall storage space, also consider the shape of your wall mounted cabinet. If it is long and rectangular, it will use the space horizontally, while an oversize, square or tall cabinet will utilize the space vertically.
Garage Storage Racks:
Garage storage racks come in many styles suited to a variety of multi-purpose uses like storing bicycles, tools and sports equipment. They are ideal for creating a place to put often-used items close at hand while controlling clutter and preventing accidents. They have the added benefit of using wall rather than floor space.
Spending time organizing your garage will be well worth the effort, especially after you realize there is now room for your car! No matter what kind of garage storage organizer you are considering buying, I hope this article has provided you with valuable insights that will help make the decision a little easier.
