Look for wardrobe storage boxes. They are tall enough to hang clothes in and meant for that. You should be able to get them at a moving supply place. They won’t be cheap but will save you a lot of trouble when you need the clothes again. Close the boxes with packing tape and they should keep the clothes unwrinkled and dust free, and make sure your storage area is dry. If you’re worried about dampness at all, get some bags from a drycleaner to put the clothes in inside the boxes, and maybe tape some plastic around the bottom of the boxes.
